Tomato Tartar and Goats Cheese in Shotglasses

I love having dinner parties with our friends and family! Normally we serve either fish or meat but I really love my vegetables. I find that there are never enough. That is why I always give lots of vegetables or vegetable based appetisers before dinner starts as it is healthy and doesn’t fill you up before the meal starts. This here is one of my go to recipes, it is that good! And super easy to make!



Recipe Goats Cheese and Tomato Tartar Shotglasses

For 12 little shotglasses

  • 150 g of fresh goats cheese
  • a couple of tbsp of single cream
  • 5 medium tomatoes
  • 1 big shallot
  • 1. 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • basil
  • salt , pepper

Put the goats cheese in a small pan with enough single cream to melt it down, liquefying it in the process. Season with salt and pepper.

Cut the tomatoes and the shallot into very small pieces and season with salt, pepper and shredded basil leaves.

Fill part of your shotglasses with the goats cheese mix and top with the tomato tartar.

Keep in the fridge until serving. Enjoy!

Tip 1 in winter use cherry or baby plum tomatoes, they have more taste.
Tip 2 Never never keep your tomatoes in the fridge that kills their taste!
