Butter Cookies (traditional method & Thermomix)

Just a very simple recipe today but it is a favourite with my boys!

The buttercookies are very simple to make and are perfect to entertain little ones, before and after!

  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • orange zest (optional)
  • 1 egg for brushing on the cookies before placing them into the oven

Mix all the ingredients together, leave it to rest for 30 minutes on the fridge.

Roll the dough out on a floured surface and cut out cookies with your chosen cookie cutters.

Place on a baking tray, brush with an egg and bake at 170 °C until golden.

Decorate with whatever you would like (glaçage royal, chocolate, sugar icing, or just leave it as is) !
