Honey glazed Carrots (Traditionnel + Thermomix)

Quick recipe for a side dish (more can be found here) that can be done as much in a pan as in the Thermomix.

Pan Version

For 4 – 6 people

  • 1 kg carrots, sliced into slices of 5 mm
  • 100 g butter
  • 20 g honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds

Peel the carrots and cut them into 5 mm slices. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes with the lid closed and stirring occasionally until the carrots are cooked. Serve as an accompaniment with the sesame seeds as topping.

Thermomix Version

  • 1 kg carrots, sliced into slices of 5 mm
  • 100 g butter
  • 20 g honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds

Put the carrots, butter, honey and salt in the mixing bowl and cook for 18 minutes / 100 C / reverse / 🥄 (lowest speed on TM). Serve hot as a side dish with the sesame seeds as topping.

  1. Hallo, Wieder ein sehr schönes und leicht zuzubereitendes Rezept- Dankeschön!

    Bei den Menge Sesam soll sicher ein 1/2 EL Esslöffel gemeint sein.
