And one more appetizer that I am going to prepare for Christmas and that I have already tested on several occasions, the last one having been with a couple of girlfriends, the scallop tartar croustades. Extremely simple to prepare and delicious to eat!
For around 14 pieces
- 7 raw scallops without coral
- 1 avocado
- 1 lemon
- olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (dill, chives)
- salt and ground pepper
- Croustades (IKEA, Waitrose or small ramekins made of filo pastry)
Cut the scallops in mini dices . Place them in a bowl. Add the diced avocado, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and chopped herbs. Refrigerate for 1h.
Fill the scallop tartar into the croustades at the last minute, decorate with herbs and serve immediately.
