Request for frozen yogurt from my boys in a shop but I found it very expensive and laced with additives. I found the right recipe in a cooking magazine and it is perfect.
You can do this with whatever fruit you want, I have done raspberry, strawberry and abricots so far – d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!!!
The recipe is very similar to the recipe of the Sorbet that you can find on my Blog but instead of using the eggwhite you use the yoghurt and the milk.
I have done it in the Thermomix but if you have a robust blender, that will do the trick as well I have been told.
- 80 g sugar
- 10 g vanilla
- 350 g frozen fruit
- 80 g yoghurt
- 50 g coconut milk
Place the sugar into the Thermomix and mix 10 sec/level 10. Add the fruit and vanilla and mix another 10 seconds/level 6.
Add yoghurt and coconut milk into the Thermomix and mix another 30 seconds / level 3. You might need to repeat this. Serve immediately.
