Okay I admit this is not a proper recipe, but it is so worth the entry on this blog.
This is decadence to the fullest, so incredibly tasty while easy to make that I defy anyone not to like it.
It is that scrumptious!
Recipe Crushed potatoes with sour cream and chives
- 1 kg Charlotte potatoes (that’s the firm salad variety)
- 250 g sour cream
- salt, black pepper
- 1 bunch of fresh chives
Cook or steam a kilo of charlotte potatoes – don’t even bother to peel them – in salt water.
When cooked through take them out of the water, put them into a dish and crush with a fork or a potato crusher.
Add sour cream – up to you how much you would like to use, you can use less or more its up to your taste. Season to taste and cut the bunch of fresh chives into the potatoes.
Mix well and serve warm.
