Frying Pan Lasagna

My sons love lasagne but I have to admit that I don’t cook it very often as I find it a very time consuming task. Absolutely worth it but still time consuming.

This is why I would like to share this recipe with you today. It is so easy to make and – at least my men – liked it a lot. And it takes about 30 minutes to make – cooking time included!

I love it with my favorite green salad!

Recipe Frying Pan Lasagna

  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 table spoons olive oil
  • 420 g frying sausages
  • salt, pepper
  • 1/2 tea spoon chili flakes
  • 500 g tinned tomatoes
  • 250 g fresh Lasagne sheets
  • 100 g baby spinach
  • 250 g mozzarella balls
  • basil leaves for decoration

Preheat the oven to 180C. Peel and cut onion and garlic and dice finely.

Heat the oil in an ovenproof frying pan and cook the garlic and onion. Press the sausage meat out of its skin into the frying pan, and cut into pieces. Fry another 5-6 minutes and season with salt, pepper and chili flakes.

Add the tomatoes and the lasagne sheets that have been cut into pieces of 2 – 3 cm. Top with the baby spinach and the mozzarella balls.

Bake the lasagne in a hot oven for 12 – 15 minutes.

Decorate with basil leaves and serve.
